Steegle.One for Google Workspace

How secure is Steegle.One?

We built Steegle.One to work exclusively with Google Workspace and its authentication protocols. The actual intranet site sits on Google Sites with it’s secure collaboration, and the Steegle gadgets (People, News, Share and Heroes) all built in Google Apps Script, to take advantage of the Google Workspace single-sign-on experience, and provide seamless access to your data.

How does Steegle.One Enhance Collaboration?

Google Workspace already offers a vast range of online, powerful collaboration tools, that include:

Real-time collaboration in Google Docs for document collaboration
Project collaboration in Google Sheets with its new Gantt-chart tool, Timelines, that allows your team to collaborate on a project
Web collaboration in Google Sites so you can collaborate online, for content collaboration, with its collaborative software editor
Online task management with Google Tasks in Spaces and to do lists in Google Keep
Visual collaboration with Google Slides and Google Drawings
Group collaboration in Google Groups and its collaborative inbox feature, and Google Calendar with shared calendars, and group chat in Google Spaces and Google Chat (formerly Hangouts)

Steegle.One does not intend to replace or supplant these collaborative features but provide a web-based collaboration solution to bring all these tools together in One place and fill the gaps Google Sites cannot provide.

What info is visible to Steegle?

None: Steegle.One only sends the licence keys and a monthly user count to Steegle, to check the validity of your licences. Steegle cannot see anything on your new intranet (unless you choose to provide access for support) and it’s not possible for Steegle to see any of the gadgets’ content without an organised screen sharing session.

Steegle cannot see any personally identifiable information (PII) unless you choose to explicitly share this with a Steegle staff member.

Does Steegle.One offer any Enterprise Social Networking Features?

Google Sites does not allow for any personalization (so the intranet cannot show different information to different people) and Google Workspace itself does not offer any social networking.

Steegle.One intranet portal can fill some of those missing features with:

the Heroes employee recognition system,

Google Sites pages for Affinity Groups with dynamic member listing and dedicated internal communication news channel,

and Team pages for departments and locations with location-specific information.

We were so pleased to find the Steegle Springboard intranet solution for Google Sites. It is a very functional and affordable add-on to Google Sites that has made a huge difference in improving our intranet. The Steegle team is so helpful and knowledgeable. They turned what could have been a daunting experience into something easy and fun. We were delighted to roll out the new intranet to our organization, and that is thanks in large part to this tremendous team and product. We definitely would recommend!

We are a manufacturing company in pompano beach florida who uses Netsuite as our ERP software. We had used the Steegle GDrive gadget in the past and had a great experience with steegle's tech team. So naturally we came to them to help us with a new pain point. We were migrating a local web server to a google site with a google drive file repository and we were having issues during the migration. Peter and Stephen met with us and talked us through the process and came up with a better solution than the one we were struggling with. They created a custom script that allowed us to export our google drive repository urls into our ERP system and now our data is linked across both systems. Even though we are in different countries and time zones they were very quick to respond and very accommodating to meet with us at our convenience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for web design help.

I was tasked with creating a company intranet to be accessed by our employees globally. I was happy to find and work with Steegle as they helped to turn a basic google site to something a lot more interactive including a robust employee directory, shout-outs page and news feature. They helped me every step of the way and provided suggestions to optimize our employees' experience. After launching the intranet they have kept in contact and are readily accessible to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

Steegle is INCREDIBLE as a knowledgeable, trusted, and reliable creative partner. We are an Insurance Agency and had just acquired another agency. We were looking for expertise with Google Suites to help build an intranet site as both an employee engagement and news platform, and as training ground to help manage standard operating processes and upskill our staff.To start, we were able to outline a few key components of what would be needed, and Steegle provided excellent examples of their work to direct and guide us. Some of our ideas were not necessarily served well by an intranet site and more applicable to a customer relationship management system and their feedback helped greatly with focus on the final design. The training and coaching for managing our site conducted over virtual meetings was very effective. Even though Steegle is not based in the US, their team was always available whenever we needed to connect.We are very pleased with our intranet site and feel confident that it will continue to meet our current and future needs. I highly recommend this team!
